Progressive Talent Pipeline: NYC Edition

New York City, NY
Full Time
Entry Level

We appreciate your interest in the Progressive Talent Pipeline: NYC Edition, an open search for people who are ready to enact the affordability agenda in New York City.

The Progressive Talent Pipeline (PTP) was founded in 2018, and in the years since hundreds of people who have been through the program have gone on to work in Congress or the Executive Branch of the federal government — working to promote a fairer economy, protect the environment, promote civil rights and civil liberties, oppose war, and more.

After focusing on growing a network ready to work in the federal government, we’re launching Progressive Talent Pipeline: NYC Edition to build a resume bank of candidates for New York City government roles. PTP:NYC does not have hiring power for NYC government roles, but will be recommending a slate of candidates. You are encouraged to also apply directly to the transition website.

To submit your materials, please complete the form questions on this page and upload a resumé and answers to the short-answer questions listed below, together as one document. (On mobile, click “Apply” at the bottom of this page to access the form). Your answers to the short-answer questions should be included after your resume in a single document (i.e. if you have a two-page resume, begin your answer to Question 1 on page 3). Once you have finalized that document, you should upload a copy of it where it says "Attach resume" in the form.

Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The submission portal will remain open until January 1, 2026.

Information you share will be retained by PTP. A curated version may be shared with partners consistent with the mission of the PTP.

If you have already been endorsed by the Progressive Talent Pipeline previously and are interested in PTP: NYC, please submit via the internal PTP survey.

If you would like to receive reminders about deadlines, updates about the program, and information about future submission periods, click here to be added to the Progressive Talent Pipeline interest list.
